Average Rating: Rating: - An electric tornado! I have never had an electric tornado before! This thing seems to have more raw force than my yard man's gas unit! I am very pleased (always have been) with Toro's products. I use it more than my compressor to clean out shop debris, etc. It's small size makes it a shoo-in for taking to a job site. A very handy and efficient time saver! Rating: - Died During First Use! After about 3 hours of blowing and bagging leaves, the machine simply quit. My guess is that the power switch, which is a variable dial, failed. The blower would probably be better off with a low, medium, and high type switch. Rating: - Clearly best in its class I found the Toro 51598 to be more than powerful enough to clear even wet leaves off my lawn & patio. It also did a good job clearing out my gutters, but I had to do it from the roof as there is no special curved air pipe that would let me do the job from the ground. There is also no angled accessory to direct air to the side. That would have been very useful when I tried to blow leaves out of areas next to the house and from other spots where it was impossible to get behind the work. Toro, are you listening?
