Average Rating: Rating: - An Adoption Article! Thank you Parenting Magazine I picked up a copy of Parenting Magazine to learn baby basics. My husband and I planning to adopt a baby. As a first time Mom I need extra help! So what I expected were routine tips on sleeping, eating etc. Wha I read was far from routine.Instead there was a very realistic piece on bonding and ta da---adoption. Josh Lerman and his wife shared some very personal thoughts which hit home with me( and any adoptive parent).It's about time that a major mainsteam parenting magazine had information about the adoption process! I think the reviews... for this magazine have been too harsh.Check it out for yourself. Rating: - Violates Baby Friendly Parenting; I dislike this magazine. The ads promote many materials that do not foster mother-baby friendly concepts. The nature of the ads call into question the credibility of articles published in the publication. I would give this magazine a - 1 for a score. I would recommend that readers look at family-friendly publications... that include references to the primary sources of articles published. Thank you.
