Lexar has always been the Cadillac of 3rd party memory as far as I am concerned. Yes, not all manufacturers are created equal! (See how you feel when you discover the mfgr. "Compatibility List" for your application!!) I've used their CF, SM and now MS (Memory Stick) memory with nary a problem over the years. You might pay a premium for a high quality product, but in this case you get what you pay for. What is especially interesting with MS, is they are competing with the "creator" of the format - Sony. Lexar is cheaper than Sony. Most people reading this will be asking "Should I just play it safe and buy Sony for more $$$??" The only difference I've found is that Lexar doesn't support their new proprietary music format - something that limits what you can do with your own music. Hardly an advance, if you ask me! I am using Lexar MS 128k (2 sticks) on my Sony Clie T665C PDA and Viking IntelliFlash 6-in-1 Memory Reader.

People...It doesnt get any better than this! You cant' get this Memory anywhere else cheaper! I have 3 128mb Memory Sticks that all are Lexar. I have a 4.1 Sony Cyber Shot P9 Digital Camera and pics are GRRRREAT!!! WHAT ever MP you have on your camera. you will NEVER run out of space!!! stock up on these now while you can. I just emailed a friend of mine about this offer...

I recently bought a Sony DSC-71 digital camera, which came with a Sony Memory Stick of 16 MB. I was thinking about upgrading right away to something larger, like a 64 MB and was looking at prices. Then I found this one, 128 MB and was cheaper than the Sony, and the reviews were mostly positive.
I decided to try it and haven't regret it. I am currently using that with my digital camera, and works perfect...I don't even think that's not Sony.
I'd recommend it to anyone considering to buy a Sony Memory Stick. It's cheaper, and does the same job, at least in my case and what I need it for.
