I am so grateful to own a Diaper Genie, it has been a godsend! I got the Diaper Genie as a gift over a year and a half ago at my baby shower and my son was born four days after the shower. It like any pail needs to be changed once a week, but com'on how long do you want poopy diapers in there anyway. I have it in his nursery still because even though he started on solids several months ago it seals in the diaper odors like nobody's business. I would highly recommend this pail to anyone who is having a baby. While there is the cost of refills, I have found I haven't used more than 6 (currently starting the sixth one as of yesterday) in the year and a half I have been using it. So that means I have paid for 5, if you don't include the one I got that came with it ...
Rating:  - difficult smelly diaper genie
This product is not easy to load and unload diaper genie trash bags. This product also provides a number of diapers that you can put in it before you empty it, yet it still smells. A regular trash can does the same job.
Rating: - It works.
I've been using my Diaper Genie for three years now. I just received a new one for my baby that's due in May. If used correctly, this product works and you don't have to smell stinky diapers or pull ups. The good thing about the gift set is that it comes with refills!
