Rating:  - not great, but not too bad
We received this tub as a gift. We started using it when our baby was two weeks. We bought a thick bath cushion to go in the tub while he is really little and it has worked pretty well. However, he does slip down to the bottom of the tub easily. That is frustrating when you're trying to keep water out of his ears. Also, the bottom edge of the T-bar is pretty sharp and he has scratched his foot on it more than once. Also, the tub is not quite deep enough to allow enough water to cover our baby completely, even though he seems to not mind. I can't really picture us using this when our baby hits about twenty pounds. The tub would be too short and not nearly deep enough.Now, as far as the functional parts go, I still don't care for this tub. It never drains completely, so you have to "de-suction" both back cups in order to tilt the tub forwards for it to drain. Also, the locking mechanism that prevents the tub from tilting forward when in the reclined position is very difficult to work with. It is located underneath the T-bar, so it's in an awkward place to begin with, and it is hard to unlock most of the time. One unimportant fact is that the toy wheel that the tub advertises as affording entertainment really doesn't spin easily at all. I don't think that my baby has ever been able to use it. In short, I like the idea behind this gizmo, but it really needs to be redesigned to be more user-friendly. Despite all the kinks, it still works as a basic tub. That's why I give it three stars. I would only give it two stars but the fact that we got for free bumps it up a notch:)

Wish I had read the rest of the reviews on this. I'm going to have to buy a different tub in a few months becos my baby is outgrowing this one (at 4 and a half months!). I just dont get how it will be converted. Its almost dangerous even. My son at 3 months hit his head against the back of the tub and had this bump on the back of his head which he had to have X-rayed. Finally I dont get whats with the roller at the bottom which he kicks around and that just contributes to his slipping and sliding.

Do not buy this bath tub. It is awful. I received this as a gift. The first time I used it, my daughter slid down. It was hard to hold her and give her a bath. By 3 months old, she was too long and her feet kept hitting the bottom sharp pieces. I was worried that she might scratch her foot or toes so I decided to set up in tub. It was worse. The part that her legs go through is sharp and she slides all over. I also bought a teddy bear pad, but there is not enough room unless I squeeze her legs through the leg holes. This bath is awful. DO NOT BUY IT!!!
